"This was a quiet and beautiful country site the wardens were so nice and showed us our pitch even though the heavens had open up, lovely dog walks and our dog loved it the other campers were very nice too always a hello for you all in all lovely thank you for a lovely stay."

 very quiet campsite. No real facilities but we knew that before going. This is an ideal camp site for those wishing a short peaceful break. There are many seasonal pitches which are well maintained. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We will visit again

had a lovely almost out of lockdown weekend. the sun shone, the children played. A great grassy area. 15 minutes up the road but felt like we were miles away. excellent value for money. thank you Stanford CV park.

Positively perfect. The minute we’d put up the divorce in a bag (I mean awning) we were both relaxed - what a fabulous hidden gem and so peaceful. Lovely views woodland walk and dog walk. Thank you so much x

Really good site for a base for plenty of things to see and do in the local area. Information pack was very detailed and a great help. Lovely people that run the site couldn't do enough for us.

The site is peaceful and picturesque.we loved it as we are new to caravanning and the atmosphere was very laid back. We've had camper vans in the past and some sites arnt. Sharon and Darren are the perfect hosts as very friendly. Easy drive into Market Harborough. I'm booking again for a couple of weekends time.

Peaceful site in a quiet, attractive location surrounded by pleasing countryside. Interesting history too, with glimpses of Stanford Hall when enjoying walks in local lanes. We were welcomed warmly by Darren, who offered helpful advice in a friendly way. He and Sharon run the site efficiently, with a light touch. Nothing is too much trouble and everything works as it should. There are no lavatory and washroom facilities at this site, so all visiting vans/homes must be self-sufficient. Electricity and water supplies worked well and grey water disposal points are found in more than one location around the site. We enjoyed our stay and will try to return, as the place is very convenient for onward travel in any direction. The Chequers pub in nearby Swinford does an excellent ploughman’s lunch (see Google reviews).

Great weekend and had the weather to match! Sharon met us on arrival and was very welcoming. Although it was quite busy, it was really quiet and peaceful. Great dog walk and plenty of service points. Would recommend

This was a last minute booking by us as father in law was taken ill and staying in glenfield hospital and we wanted to be close by, made to feel very welcome by Darren and Sharon, sharon told us all about the firework display and best place to view it from the site , the display was amazing, site has no toilet block but that was quite clear on booking and not an issue , site is well maintained and ample sized pitches some fantastic 5th wheelers to go and look at , site had a small shop but was closed due to covid ,gates are locked at night but sharon very kindly said if we had to get out in a hurry just wake them up (they stay on site) To sum up this is a friendly well run site with a very laid back approach which we liked ,i do hate some of the cc sites with the regimental stance every caravan facing the same way distance measured between vans etc , we will be coming back to this site as there was a lot to see and do around the area but because of our circumstances we missed , greatly disliked the fact we had to leave ! ! but we will be back

Wow! What a site! Although there are no amenities, this is a fantastic site. So relaxing, so friendly, just what we needed. As we went with friends, we were sited together and Sharon and Darren are on hand 24/7 should you require anything. Thank you for a great weekend. "Stayed 3rd to the 6th FEB 2022 My wife and i plus 2 dogs stayed here for 3 nights and WOW what a find this site is. Yes you do need to use your own toilet and shower facilities but that's why we have them on our vans LOL FANTASTIC walks for the dogs which they could not get enough of. Perfect really clean and quiet site. Sharon and Darren are lovely and helpful No toilets or showers but you can dispose of all your waste and clean water is avalible. Felt safe as a solo camper as very secure site. Price was well worth it as it really was immaculate. Close to M1 so will use again.

Stanford Hall caravan and motorhome site is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Surrounded by beautiful country side it really is a great place to go to fur peace and quiet. We have stayed there several times. Resident camp wardens Sharon and Darren are so very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay perfect. They keep the camp site really well maintained and we look forward to our next visit.

Friendly, helpful team welcoming us, flat pitches, spacious, so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Close to some beautiful villages.
